As an Early Head Start Teacher Aide-substitute , you will work with Teachers in the management of Early Head Start classrooms by providing quality infant-toddler care in accordance with Agency philosophy, program performance standards and curriculum guidelines. You will report to an Early Head Start Enrollment Specialist & Supervising Teacher and you will work onsite.
Responsibilities:
- Use daily routines and observations to meet the strengths and needs of children.

POSITION SUMMARY
The Sidney Albert Training and Research Institute (SATRI) provides curriculum design, development and training to internal professionals as well as those individuals served by external contracts executed by the Institute. These contracts may be with various departments within the State of New York, School Districts, Human Service Agencies or community based entities. Respite Workers Needed in Albany for Youth in care.
Per Diem (As Needed) Shift
As a Respite Worker for the Permanency Resource Center, you will provide respite services to youth in adoptive, guardianship and kinship families. Respite may also be available to families as part of the service plan and can occur at parent support groups or other PRC events and will be designed to be consistent with the children's needs and interests. Outings or activities with individual youth will be coordinated with the supervisor and parent. Respite provided as part of a group activity at a support group will be designed to allow parents the opportunity to have time separate from their children while they attend a support group. You will report to the Case Manager Supervisor or designated supervisor at the event. You will work onsite with youth in the community.
Responsibilities:
- Provide supervision for youth while parents attend support group.
- Provide respite as assigned to a youth as part of their service plan which can include activities in the community or in the youth’s home if that is the agreed upon plan.
- Participate in family engagement activities to provide added support to youth.
- Co-lead support groups for youth.
- Maintain records including required data collection information according to the program standards and expectations.

School Based Clinician
As a Clinician, you will work collaboratively with the school district and as part of an interdisciplinary team with identified students, by providing clinical counseling to the youth and their family in an outpatient mental health clinic, licensed by the New York State Office of Mental Health (OMH), imbedded within the School Building. You will report to the Director of the Behavioral Health Center and you will work onsite.

The Intensive Aftercare Prevention Program (IAPP) is looking for a Clinical Case Manager to work in a home and community-based program where employees work in a partnership. This position is working in Johnstown, NY and covering FultonCounty.
The Intensive Aftercare Prevention Program (IAPP) provides six to nine months of intensive services to families whose children are either at risk of being removed from their homes or are already in placement. The goals of the program are to prevent out-of-home placement for troubled children, provide a safe environment to return children already in placement, and prevent future out-of-home placement.
What a Clinical Case Manager can expect:
- The Clinical Case Manager will develop treatment plans with families to assist with identifying and meeting their goals.
- Develop a psychosocial assessment. Connect with the youth’s family to monitor progress and support the family’s effort to keep the youth safe.
- Ensure the coordination of services with service providers and collaterals involved with the youth and his/her family.
- Complete paperwork properly and within agency, county, and state guidelines. Ability and willingness to do the job as changes arise.

Position Purpose: Plays a crucial role in supporting students and faculty in the Geosciences department by assisting with field trips, laboratory exercises, instrument operation and maintenance, and classroom material preparation. This includes managing field equipment, coordinating off-campus activities, operating and maintaining instrumentation (mass spectrometers and chromatographs), managing supplies, and aiding in laboratory setup and sample preparation. Essential Responsibilities and Duties:
- Class Field and Lab Support: Coordinates with faculty to prepare/pack required field equipment and/or supplies for field excursions. Assists faculty with setup and breakdown of classroom laboratory specimens/equipment. Communicates with facilities for any repairs and maintenance that are required in geoscience labs or classrooms. Maintains, orders and upgrades field equipment as necessary. Drive field vehicle and assist with activities for selected student exercises.
- Geochemistry Instrumentation Operation and Maintenance: Assists with operating instrumentation (mass spectrometers, chromatographs, titrator, etc.). Prepares samples and standards analysis, assists faculty operating and maintaining instrumentation in both the stable isotope and ICP-MS geochemistry laboratories. Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Geosciences or related fields. Three years relevant experience, or Masters in Geosciences or related fields preferred.
- Must have a valid driver’s license to assist faculty with outdoor field exercises, including driving vans.
- Demonstrated understanding of geological principles.
- Excellent organizational and data management skills.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work in various field conditions and travel to remote locations.
- Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures in geoscientific work.

Compensation
The rate for this position is between $18.00 - $27.50 per hour. School Based Clinician
MSWs with their Limited Permit are eligible for a $2,500 signing bonus!

As a Clinician, you will work collaboratively with the school district and as part of an interdisciplinary team with identified students, by providing clinical counseling to the youth and their family in an outpatient mental health clinic, licensed by the New York State Office of Mental Health (OMH), imbedded within the School Building. Responsibilities:
- Work collaboratively with the school district to identify and treat a caseload of students with mental health needs providing a comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, and individual and family therapy services to those assigned to caseload.
- Create initial treatment plans, subsequent treatment plan reviews, progress notes for each scheduled appointment, and other documentation and assessments as indicated.
- Collaborate with the associated clinic prescriber, other medical and mental health providers, school staff and any other community supports for client care.
